There have long been internal disputes among IT specialists and website creators: whether to use a builder or create a website with code. Who is right?
But there are no rightists in this matter. It all depends on the needs of the client. Below I want to quote from the task of one of the clients who is in our support:
«We want to create a custom block with a transparent background, allowing it to be placed on any page, regardless of the background color. This block should include a primary button with rounded edges and a green background.
The button should be customizable in terms of alignment, with options to align it left, center, or right in relation to other text or elements on the page.
Additionally, we want the ability to change the button’s color if needed.
The goal is to make this component easy to add to any page whenever a button is required.»
This is a typical client’s idea of how a website is made. And, actually, only builders offer such functionality. Writing code and syntax for each button that the client wants is long, expensive, and inefficient. Therefore, builders will always remain in demand, as there are a large number of customers who like to change the design of pages or individual elements of the site.
Therefore, if you plan to change the design quite often or use a different design for each page (for example, to test different landing page design), then you’d better choose sites based on one of the builders. The most popular and convenient is the Elementor. Otherwise, you won’t be able to change the design without the necessary knowledge. Any minor change will require contacting the developer, which takes both time and money.
